FILTRON filters have been designed, tested, and manufactured in Poland since 1982. The first FILTRON filters production plant had only 13m2 of surface area and was located in a rented room, which used to be a laundry. The first filters were made by hand.
THE FILTRON NAME
The inspiration for creating the name FILTRON were the names of Japanese camera manufacturers, NIKON and CANON. The creator of the name FILTRON (Piotr Giermaziak) did not anticipate that FILTRON would become such a strong brand, with international recognition. The first logotype of the FILTRON brand had purple colours.
DISTRIBUTION
The first FILTRON-filter distribution network was established in the early 1990s, and was based on door-to-door sales to retail outlets and car-repair shops. The first FILTRON-filter catalogue was created in 1993 and included 129 filters.
THE DYNAMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE FILTRON BRAND
The dynamic development of the FILTRON brand is evidenced by the numbers related to the scale of production of the FILTRON filters.
